If you call the customer service team on 0345 207 2000 they will be able to tell you about the gas and electricity prices offered by Utilita.  You can also find out about switching to a different tariff or reporting a lost top-up card. You can ring this number to find where the nearest PayPoint is located where you can top up your card.

This helpline can also help if you want to look at ways to save money on your utility bills.  They can look at things like when you use the most energy during the day. If you want to join Utilita as a customer, you can ring 0345 206 8777.  This number handles duel fuel customers as well as electric or gas only.  They can give you a price for your energy usage levels, location and type of property.  You can also look at what suits your financial needs such as a pay as you go system or a monthly direct debit.  You can use this number as an existing customer if you are moving house and need to change your details.

You can ring the 24 hour top up line on 0345 206 8333 to pay with a debit or credit card and add to your balance.  You can also use it to check your current balance or when a bill is due. If you need to check a payment has been made, use this line to do this.

You can use the automated meter reading number 0345 209 3750 to submit your regular meter reading.  This is important to avoid estimated bills that can cost you more money. Always use an accurate reading from your meter as you can be fined for submitting incorrect information.

If you experience a power cut, you can call the emergency phone number 0345 206 8999.  You can get a supply update to see when your power will be restored and report an outage if it hasn’t been done already.  The line is open 8am until 10pm so if it falls outside these hours, call your regional supplier instead.

There is a national gas emergency helpline to call for free if you think you smell gas – 0800 111 999.  Before you call, turn off your gas supply at the mains and open windows and doors. The line is available 24/7.
