Swindon Council oversees a number of key services for residents of the area including schools, benefits and transport. You can find more information about these services by calling them or by using the website.
You can report problems with your local area to the council including finding an abandoned vehicle, fly tipping, overflowing dog bins and graffiti. If there has been something causing a street to require cleaning, you can notify the council. Even finding dead animals in public areas or litter causing a problem on public land can be reported to them via the website or by the phone.
If you need to know where car parking is available around the town, the council can help. You can also get information about residents parking including apply for or renewing a resident’s zone parking permit. If you have received a parking fine, pay it here or dispute it or report a problem with a council run car park. You can even find out information about the Blue Badge scheme and if you may be eligible for one.
