Which satellite for Sky TV?

Sky TV uses the Astra satellites which cover the whole of Europe.  This is why you can get Sky programs when visiting Europe but not when you are further away.  When you first go with Sky, they provide you with a satellite dish to receive the signal and set it up for you.  If you switch from another provider to Sky, your dish can normally still be used. If not, Sky will provide a new one.
