The Redbridge London Borough Council is the council for the Redbridge area of Greater London, one of 32 that make up the capital. It was formed in 1963 from parts of four different councils – Ilford Borough Council and Wanstead and Woodford Borough Council, Chigwell Urban District Council and Dagenham Borough Council.
The London borough council is responsible for a range of services for people living in the area. These include operating schools and government-approved childcare services as well as providing council housing for people. It also runs leisure services such as sports and arts facilities and the local libraries.

There are two main ways to reach out to the council about problems, queries or for advice. One is via the website https://www.redbridge.gov.uk which contains lots of information. Plus you can set up an online account and use this to pay for services and apply for different things. It is available 24 hours a day.
