QuickQuid Loans

The main purpose of QuickQuid is to provide short term loans for people.  They offer loans up to £1000 for new customers or up to £1500 for existing customers.  There are three different repayment periods and once the loan is approved, you can have the money in as little as 10 minutes.  The company has over 1.4 million customers making use of flexible and transparent short term loans.

The loan can be applied for online at their main website  Here you will fill in some basic personal information to help them make sure you are eligible for the loan.  You can state what amount you want to borrow and choose one of the time periods. The website will tell you how much it will cost in interest if the loan runs the full term and what you have to pay each month.  This means you always understand the cost of borrowing before you commit to anything.

One of the most important things to understand about taking any kind of loan is the rates and terms.  Rates are how much it will cost you for the loan, often expressed in an APR or interest rate per annum (pa).  Terms are the conditions of the loan such as the repayment amounts, the payment schedule and other information.

Collections department

The collections department handle late payments or help you if you are having financial problems.  You can ring them on 0808 234 4561 from 8 am until 9 pm weekdays and 10 am until 18:30 pm weekends.  There is also an email address for the team [email protected].  You should always get in touch as soon as possible if you think you can’t make a regular payment or are having financial problems as the company will do what they can to help and advise you.

Complaints Department

QuickQuid always aims for the highest standards of service but sometimes things go wrong, and customers might want to make a complaint.  If you want to complain about loan products, policies or services you can do it in writing, via email or on the phone.

You can call 0800 016 3114 to make a complaint over the phone.  Calls are free from landlines but may be charged up to 40p a minute from mobiles.  You can send a complaint via email to [email protected] and the team will respond.

QuickQuid will respond to complaints within 5 days and aim to resolve them within 8 weeks of the initial contact.  They will send a letter detailing their response and if you are still not satisfied, you can then escalate it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

You have six months from the date of this Final Response letter to escalate the complaint.  To do this, you can contact them on 0300 1239123, via email on [email protected] or you can write to them at Exchange Tower, London, E14 9SR.

If you are still unhappy with the response, you will need to use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform which is set up to handle complaints about goods or services bought in the EU.  They can be found here.  If you use the platform, you will need to name QuickQuid as CashEuroNet UK, LLC which is the company’s full name.
