Kingston London Borough Council is one of the 32 council areas that make up Greater London and is responsible for the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames and its residents.  The council is based in the Kingston Upon Thames Guildhall.

As part of its duties, the council is responsible for a wide range of services for the area ranging from schools and children services through to adult social care, culture and leisure service as well as environment and waste control and planning permission.

Kingston Upon Thames council’s website is the best place to start with information about services as well as to pay for things like council tax.  The website is https://www.kingston.gov.uk and you can set up an account to securely make payments or request services.

To speak to someone at the council tax and business rates team, you can ring 020 8547 5007.  You do need an appointment to visit someone in this department so use the website or the phone line to make this before visiting.
