How Sky TV works

Sky TV is a paid service that you subscribe to in order to receive paid channels.  How much you pay and what package you take dictates what channels you get. So if you want sports channels, this will cost more than a subscription without them.  You need a satellite dish and a Sky box to receive the channels. Although Sky is currently working on a dish-free option, due for release in 2019. Once you have these and a viewing card that tells the box what channels you are paying for, you can connect it to your TV.  Then you can start watching the channels and downloading extra features if you have your box connected to the internet.
