Very is fast becoming one of the UK’s favourite online retailers. With the vast array of items available, including clothing, homewares, jewellery, beauty and electricals, it’s a one-stop shop for everything you could possibly need.
The online retailer also offers next day delivery, a flexible returns policy and credit facilities to help you spread the cost of payments. If you purchase something and change your mind within the returns period, there are many different methods for returning your item to Very.
What items cannot be returned?
For various reasons, there are some items which cannot be returned. If you have customised an item, such as printing your name on a football shirt, this will often be exempt from the returns policy. Other items may be excluded for hygiene reasons, such as underwear or piercing jewellery. And finally, items like music, DVDs, games and software will often be exempt if the seal is broken. How to return an item to Very
If you are able to return the item, then there are a number of options available to you. You will have to return your item within 28 days of receipt and the item will have to be returned in the same condition it was delivered to you. To return an item, follow these steps:
- Complete the returns slip which is included in your delivery package. You will need to specify why you are returning the item and which items you are returning if you are not returning the full order.
- Remove the returns sticker from the returns slip and stick this over the original address sticker. If you are using your own packaging, make sure the returns sticker is visible and prominent.
- Place the items in the original packaging, or in your own envelope and ensure they are sealed tightly with tape.
How to send your return
One of the benefits of shopping with Very is that they offer flexible returns. In order to arrange your return, you will need to log in to your online account and select “Returns”. After this, you will be taken to a page with your recent orders. Select the item or items you would like to return and then follow the instructions. You will then have three options.
Return with Click and Collect from Collect+
This is one of the easiest methods as there are over 5,500 Collect+ partners throughout the UK. Simply drop the parcel off at the Collect+ location and the item will be collected and returned to the retailer. This method is only suitable for items under 10kg.
Return to Post Office
You can return items up to 10kg for free by dropping them off at the Post Office. Any items weighing more than this will incur an additional fee.
Return with Home Collection
If you need to return items greater than 10kg, then you can request home collection. For bulky items, you can request a courier collect them from your home. You will be given the option to pick the day of collection but not the time slot, so you will need to arrange a time when you will be home all day.
When will I receive a refund?
Very processes their refunds very quickly and you should have the money back in your account within 14 days provided the item is returned in a satisfactory condition. If the item was damaged or faulty when it arrived you should receive a replacement item or a refund within 14 days.
