General enquiries

If you are an existing customer and you want to notify them about a change of address, bill payment details or any other type of change, there are two numbers, one for metered and one for non-metered customers, both open from 8 am until 5 pm weekdays:

If you have a loss of water supply problem, loss of water pressure or other disruption then you can ring the general enquires line on 0345 357 2407.  This line is available from 7 am until 8 pm weekdays and from 8 am until 4 pm weekends. Otherwise, use the emergency contact number above.

If you notice a water leak, it is important to report it as soon as possible.  You can ring 0800 376 5325 to report a leak and this line is available 24 hours a day.  If you want to check to see if it has already been reported, you can check their website and you can even let them know about the problem via Twitter at

Business customers

If you are an affinity business customer, then you can ring the dedicated team on 0345 357 2424 between 8 am and 5 pm weekdays.  There is also an emergency number operating 24 hours for problems with your water – 0345 357 2407. Moving home

Affinity Water has an online portal to change your address if you are moving home and want to swap your account to the new property.  You will need meter readings and details of both addresses to complete this. You can also use the following numbers:

Water meter reading

Water meter reading

To submit a water meter reading, you can go online, on SMS or via the phone.  Go online and log into your account then go to submit meter readings. You can text your reading by sending READ and the number to 0778 147 4715.  You can also ring 0345 357 2401 and hit option 3 to speak to someone and provide the information.

Direct debit queries

Direct debit is the easiest way to make a payment and you can set up a direct debit via the Affinity Water website.  You can also ring

If you have problems with leaking pipes, blockages or other water issues you can call 0345 357 2407 or go to the website for more advice.
